Macey will be 10 months old on January 22nd! Wow!
She’s a beautiful dog now…not a little puppy anymore. We went to the vet a little while ago for her weigh-in. She’s a solid 66 pounds now.
With the snow in on the ground and roads, she hasn’t been skateboarding lately, but she got on a Snow Skate over Thanksgiving. It’s similar to a skateboard, but without the wheels, when on snow.
She continues to shut the back door behind her with only a reminder to “Shut the Door!”.
Macey now knows when it is dark and there is a possibility I might get in the hot tub. All I have to do is say, “Go get it” and point to the back bathroom. She’ll come back with my swim suit.
She is now automatic at gathering the socks and underwear each morning. She’s usually carrying around a mouthful of them when we get up.
I’ve been taking Macey to the Dog Park off and on lately. She loves it! It’s a good for us to let her work off some energy.
She’s not allowed to get on the furniture or on our bed, but we often find her on Corey’s bed. He lets her sleep with him when he is home.
