Girl in White: Macey at 5 Months

At 5 months, Macey is starting look more and more like a real Golden Retriever.

“I make these look good”. 

A while back, we started noticing a “Mohawk” of long, white running down the center of her back.  It was replacing the puppy fur down the center of her back. As of 5 months, she now has long fur wrapping around about half way on each side. Likewise, her tail is starting to show long fur. She is much more lanky and “teenager” like.

Macey is developing her “blockhead” profile and droopy jowls. I took her to the Vet on her 5 month birthday. She weighed 37.5 pounds. I took her back last Friday and she weighed 41 pounds.

There are other times when I look down at her and still see a lot of puppy.
