When Macey was just a puppy, I took her to the deep snow on Togwotee Pass.
She was a cutie then, and a beautiful sub-adult now! This photo was taken shortly after picking her up last April.
She loves the deep snow.
When I took Macey to this area a year ago, I was always worried she would go over a hill and not come back to my voice commands. Now, she is great at returning to the truck and following directions.
In the early morning light, and against blue snow, she looks more gold than normal.
Back in town, we’ve lost a lot of our snow. The town crews have run the street sweepers, so she got to skateboard again.
